In September of 1989 a new sports entertainment show hit the airwaves and took the nation by storm.  That show was American Gladiators and it became a pop culture phenomenon.  Deron McBee was an actor working on the Universal Studios Hollywood lot in the late 80's as part of the Conan The Barbarian live show.  He heard about a casting call and went.  He got the gig and became "MALIBU" one of the original American Gladiators!

He's well known for his signature look...the long blonde hair, tan, big muscles, etc.  He's very recognizable standing around 6'5".

Deron has been in tons of films and television shows over the years.  Married with Children and Curb Your Enthusiasm...Falling Down, Mortal Kombat Annhilation, Batman Forever, Tosh.O, Walker Texas Ranger and many many more.  His IMDB page is quite impressive!

So what is life really like for a guy like this?...a career actor who's had some roles that have made him forever a recognizable face all over the world?  That's what I wanted to find out.
