For over two decades Matthew Thompson has been creating Fluke Fanzine, an independent, small batch magazine that covers a wide range of topics ranging from hobo culture and train graffiti to punk rock music.  Zine's are actually everywhere but most people just don't know that.  If you happen to come across one, very often you can tell as you flip through it that the creator has poured their heart and soul into this...not for money or fame, but for the love of the topic they are covering and love of the creation process.

They've been around for a long time!  Think about a blog or e-newsletter before the internet existed.  You'd handing them or mailing them out.  People would read them and pass them on to friends.  Many bands have developed followings around the country thanks to Zines.

Matthew teaches us all about Zines, covers a lot of cool info on the Arkansas Punk Rock scene, the history of Fluke Fanzine and more.

I also rant about sideshow gaffe's and fiji mermaids for a bit.
